He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cecelia Alvarez; his children, Roger Alvarez (Kathleen) and Linda Reker (Jim); his stepson William Zelin (Patricia); his grandchildren, Joshua Alvarez (Katlyn), Daniella Alvarez, Matthew Alvarez, Christy Garver (Aaron) and Ashley Neel (Coley); his stepgrandchildren, Nicole Ann Zelin (Barry Wagoner), William Walter Zelin and Tricia Renee Rydson (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Zack Alvarez, Adelena Alvarez, Matti Alvarez, Anastasia Alvarez, Luke Alvarez, Colson Garver, Flynt Garver, Hewitt Garver, Quinn Cecelia Neel and Lucy Neel; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Benjamin Merritt Wagoner, Lily Ann Wagoner, Tyler William Rydson and Georgia Kate Rydson; and his siblings, Josephine Crowder, Robert Alvarez, Anthony Alvarez, Charles Alvarez and Steven Smith.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home (8150 Brecksville Rd, Brecksville, OH 44141). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
