He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling Butler, Sr. and Inez Wainwright; and his son Brian. He is survived by: his former wife Bernice Baker; his wife Glenda Johnson; his grandchildren, Anthony, Brandon, Jack Raaqim (Malana), Ayahanna and Aayan (Janeta); his sister Lena; his daughter Hadiya (Everett); and his stepdaughters, Malana and Janeta. He is also survived by grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
