He is survived by: his wife Josephine; his children, Geraldine Hurns, Robert Winters (Gwendolyn), Riley Winters (Brenda) and Gilbert Winters (Jeanetta); his sister Jessie Lee Lotte of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; his grandchildren, Romelle, Ramon, Chandra, Robert III, Ricardo, India, Van Darrell, Tierney, Devin and Mark (Andrea); and his daughter Patricia A. Winters. He is also survived by nieces & nephews; six brother and three sister.
