He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Etta Gore and James Dewey Gore; and his sister Addie Rebecca Gore. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Maya Naomi Thornton, Olivia Ruth Thornton, John Richard Thornton, Dial Jean Gore and Ellington Blake Lee Gore; and his nieces and nephews, Keith McGee, Forrest Pearson, Connie McGee and Sharon Pope. He is also survived by cousins, dear friends.
