She was predeceased by: her grandmother Minnie Ola Jones; and her mother Helen Bess. She is survived by: her sister Marian L. Mauldin; her stepsister Hazel Kittson; her daughter-in-law Samantha Stephens; her grandchildren, Nicose A. Brooks, Hailey P. Carter of Zachary, A. A, Brooks, Xavier A. Brooks and Simone A. Brooks; her great grandchild Kaia Brooks; her nieces, Rever Jones, Shakirra I. Jones and Kim Morris; her nephew Reginald Jones; and also, Mia A. Brooks and Herman Brooks II. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
