She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Evans and Idella Evans; her sisters, Alberta Evans, Susie Evans, Berphine Gibson and Willa Dean Gilford; and also, Brenda Gibson, Lawrence Gibson and Inell Gibson.
She is survived by: her husband Hosea Jackson Jr.; her mother-in-law Josephine Jackson; her children, Mark (Carla), Fatima (Mike), Takisha and Latoya; her grandchildren, Marcella, Dejah, Mykela, Kayin, Kimora, Michael and Mia; her siblings, Betty Devlin, Linda Baker and Edward Kelly; and her nieces, Sheryl (Angelo), Mary and Bernice.
