He was predeceased by: his parents, Lem Rolling and Rosa Lee Rolling. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Chambers; and his children, DeQuilla Andrews, Ronald Andrews, Robert Chambers, Velitta Todd, Bernard Chambers, Brenda Jaggers, Michael Chambers, Unnita Chambers, Jamelle Brown and Anthony Chambers. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 6 great, great-grandchildren.
