He is survived by : his children, Evalene Brewer, Regina Tuck, Joyce Tuck, James Briggs Jr., Gerald Briggs and Steven Briggs; his brothers, Todd Love and Henry Briggs. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren; 2 great, great – grandchildren.
