He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Aretha Y.; his children, Foster Brandon McCreary III, S'kytha Yolanda McCreary and Harriet Deniece Dortch; his goddaughter Cynthia McIver (Roderick); and his siblings, Henry McCreary, Marquita Thompson, Carrie Tate (Sam McCreary) and Carmen Willis (Alfred McCreary).

The family suggests memorial contributions be made The American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44106 or to Trinity Cathedral.
