He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Delores Smith and Melvin Ronald Smith; his siblings, Deborah Carina Evans and Dreama Yavonne Adams; and his godmother Rosie Mitchell.

He is survived by: his goddaughter Dasia Avery. He is also survived by other cousins, aunts, uncles.
