He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Damon Byers and Ada Byers; his children, Dawn Ivy (Joseph), Tonya Lynn, Davette Cheire and David Chandler (Tammy); and his grandchildren, Jevonne Nicole (Richard), RaSheem Damon (Karla), Joseph DaJon, Roderick Allen, Asante Ramone, David Jamal, David Aaron (Jennifer), Davenique Anastasia, Gabrille Lanise, Brandon Jaleel and Stephanie Elaine (Carol Whitley). He was also cherished by 12 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, friends and family.
