He is survived by: his parents, Robert Herman and Doris "Fuller" Wendel; his children, Steven Lee Likens, Daniel Herman Wendel (Samantha) and Taylor May Wendel (Justin); his grandchildren, Alessa Jean Likens, Bailey May Wendel, Mason of Gavin, TJ, Clover Fay and Justin Timothy Hashman (Bubba); his adoptive daughters, Kate Koon, Annalita Robinson, Layla Dawson and Kayla King; his aunts, Mary-Ruth "Fuller" Beymer and Barbara Ann "Wendel" Hollstiene; and his uncle Donald Wendel. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws.
