Karen Sue Higginbotham Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Sue Higginbotham of Beaver, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Steward Nickell and Norma Jean Risner Nickell; and her brother-in-law Michael Harris. She is survived by: her husband Rex Higginbotham; her sons, Daniel Higginbotham (Lilah) of Lucasville and Adam Higginbotham (Veronica) of Gahanna; her grandchildren, Libbey, Laken Higginbotham of Lucasville, Declan, Cohen and Nora Higginbotham of Gahanna; and her siblings, Donna Jean Harris of Waverly, Russ Nickell (Karen) of Beaver, Rick Nickell (Diane) of Beaver and Rock Nickell of Snow Camp. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is setting up an account for anyone to donate funds to support students that mom worked closest alongside.
