He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Potts and Ruby Potts (Snyder); his daughter Jennifer Dawn Haydon; his siblings, Keith Potts and Nancy Kiser; his brother-in-law Gerald Kiser (Ronnie Kisor); his father-in-law William A Haydon; his nephew Aaron M. Queen; and his niece Debra Ann Potts.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Potts (Haydon); his daughter Mandi Pierce (Jamie); his grandson Kaden Thomas Pierce; his sister Valerie "June" Kisor; his mother-in-law Marlene Haydon; and his siblings-in-law, Diana Potts, Nancy Skaggs, Mary Deeter (Deb Dolick) and David Haydon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill (202 Maple Ave, Oak Hill, OH 45656). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025.
