He is survived by: his children, Daniel Alan Nichols (Michelle) of Austin, TX and Lisa Joy McDonald (Jason) of Columbus, Ohio; his grandson Brooks; his stepgrandson Cason McDonald; and his sisters, Marilyn Ann Linn and Ginger N. Postelwait.
