He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elsie; his sons, Joaquin Lim (Ellen) and John Lim (Anne Jacobson); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Grimm (David), Jessica Lim (Michael Johnston), Joaquin "Jake" Lim, Ethan Lim, Daniel Lim and Maya Lim; his great grandchild Evan Grimm; and his siblings, Suat Eng Te and Suat Cheng.
