She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Melvin Stuart Appell; her children, Scott Appell (Cindy), Craig Appell (Jodi), Jamey Appell (Michelle) and Aaron Appell (Karen); her grandchildren, Christine (AJ), Amanda (Dylan), Spencer, Ethan, Alyssa, Mikaela, Carson, Cassandra, Leah and Abby; her great grandchildren, Micah and Marley; and her parents, Albert Malecke and Alice Malecke.
