She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph Newman; her children, Judi Schonfeld (Roy), Paul Newman (Kathi) of Denver, CO, Robert Newman (Linda Leviton) of Columbus, OH and Edward Newman (Martha Bishop) of Athens, OH; her grandchildren, Eli Hawkins (Robin), Jake Cohen, Jenni Newman, Ben Newman (Alison), Sam Newman (Maggie Maguire) and Ethan Newman (Diana Hall); her great grandchildren, Glenn, Joseph and Mia; and her sister Florence Schlinger.

A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel (1985 S Taylor Rd, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118).
