She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Irving Shanes; her children, Jonathan Shanes (Nancy) of Cleveland, Peter Shanes (Lisa) of Pepper Pike, Michael Shanes of Cleveland and B. Shanes (Staci) of Brunswick, MD; her grandchildren, Mara Shanes (Kenneth Gilchrist), Zachary Shanes (Iris), Gabriella Shanes, Erin Shanes, Jami Shanes, Alexis Shanes and Samuel Shanes; her great grandchild Samantha Gilchrist; and her sibling Mardelle Young.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Bet Olam Cemetery (25796 Chagrin Blvd, Beachwood, OH 44122).
