She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Slayman Sr. and Nellie Bratton Slayman; her husband Galen Kandell; and her siblings, Robert, Paul Slayman and Clara Jane Hill.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Karcagi (William) of Canton; her granddaughters, Jennifer Pullen, Jessica Edwards (Robert) and Erica Gervais (Brice); her siblings, Harry Slayman Jr. (Jeannie), Betty Neidenthal and Nancy Fox; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Slayman, Cleo Levengood (Don) and Edward Hill. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
