He is survived by: his wife Denna Hibbitts Garrison; his children, Michael Garrison II and Kayla Garrison; his sister Sylvia Spragg; his stepson Michael Berndt, Sr.; his stepgrandchildren, Callie Berndt, Michael Berndt, Jr. and Jenny Montague (Todd); his former wife Ethel Garrison; and his brother Kenneth Garrison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
