He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernadette Reitz and Gerald Reitz; and his sister Mary Jo Ehrbar. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat"; his children, Allison, Ella and Halle; and his siblings, Lisa Reitz Williamson, Laura, Gerald Jr. (Laura) and Barbara Reitz (John Sheehan).

The family respectfully requests that face masks be worn at the visitation and Mass. The family requests memorial contributions to the Cleveland APL, 1729 Willey Ave. Cleveland, OH 44113.
