He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Bye; and his parents, Sam Campbell Bye and Leona Antonia Bye (Née Siebold). He is survived by: his siblings, Carol A. Bye and MacLeod (Scotty) of Massachusetts; his stepdaughters, Laura Bordy Mamer (David), Stephanie Bordy, Carrie Kocian, Amy Kocian Krotine (Danny) and Katie Gillespie (Rob); and his grandchildren, Noah, Edie, Wyatt, Everett Gillespie, Elvi, Eliott Kocian and Luther Boyer.
