She is survived by: her husband Fred; her son Michael (Emily); her granddaughters, Abigail, Lucille and Norah; her siblings, Daisy Dimon, Diane Matzorkis (William) and Anthony (Cheryl); and her sibling-in-law Robin Cero (Craig). She is also survived by her family and friends.
She was a strident advocate for a child's ability to communicate despite hearing loss and made significant contributions to several school districts in Northern Virginia and Northeast Ohio.
