He was predeceased by: his sister Marsha Lias; his sister Anne Werts (Hunt); and also Blair. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Michelle Bender (Cliff) and Ryan Werts (Inge); his grandchildren, Braeden, Layla Werts, Hannah, Isla and Kora Bender; and his siblings, William, Maryanne Werts and Patricia Meyers (Norman).
