He was predeceased by: his wife Grace "Penny" Giles; his parents, Gib Giles and Edna Giles; and his siblings, Margaret Tejral, Linda Mellen, Norma Christy and Kenneth Giles.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Durham of Melbourne, FL., Glenn Giles (Dana) of Melbourne, FL., Jeffrey Giles (Jan) of Copley, OH and Pamela Harget (Lee) of Akron, OH; his grandchildren, Nathan, Graham, John, Kelsey, Samantha, Vanessa, Gibb, Emma and Jessica; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Rowan and Valen; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Giles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
