She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Schlupe and Veda Mrytle; her brothers, Llyod and Emery Schlupe; her former husband Carlos D. Bower, Sr.; and her son David P. Bower (Teri).
She is survived by: her children, Carlos D. Bower, Jr., Frankie J. Bower, Carla D. Morgan and Cathy L. Howard (Jim Jr.); her grandchildren, Tyler Morgan (Heather), Adrian Bailey, James Howard III (Alivia), Seth Howard and Ashleigh Howard; and her great grandchildren, Mary Jane and Melody Morgan. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
