She is survived by: her parents, Kurt Honing and Alma Honing; her husband Joseph P Sofranko; her children, Ela, Melanie Honing, Douglas Sofranko and Kevin K.; her siblings, Mathias Honing and Gabriele Luhr; and her pet Sammy. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
