He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Neal and Nora Neal; his son James Neal; and his siblings, Harold, Mike Neal (Mary) and Phyllis Epperhart.

He is survived by: his child Terry Neal (Christy); his grandchildren, Jacob, Joseph, Joel and Ellie; and his sisters, Brenda Ryan (William) and Rose Jackson.
