She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Kevin Scherer; her children, Max Knecht, Elly Knecht, Jesse Knecht (Megan), Clare Knecht, Mark Scherer (Jason), Ryan Scherer (Tyra), Lindsey Schoenlaub (Joey) and Ben Scherer (Alayzia); her grandchildren, Oaklynn, Monroe, Jett, Brady and Brynn; and her siblings, John, Violeta Sommer, Martha, Christine Sommer, Catherine Yeager (Ron) and Mary Weaver (late Jack). She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
