He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frey and Bessie Frey; and his brother John Frey. He is survived by: his wife Diane Frey; his children, Bob Frey Jr. (Anita), Mike Frey (Melissa), Paw Paw of Brandon Frey and Jacob Frey; his sibling Fran Behymer (Tom); and his brother-in-law Doug Humphrey (Alicia). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bob's name to the First Baptist Church of Glen Este.
