We bid farewell to Naomi LaVerne Wilson of Batavia, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 26, 2025 at the age of 90. Naomi LaVerne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Naomi LaVerne farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Naomi LaVerne is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Morgan Chandler and Allie Chandler; and her husband Joel T. Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Vicky Osterfeld (John), Jeffry Burden (Christine) and Russell Burden (Sherri); and her grandchildren, Christopher Tyo (Sarah), Emily Zetterburg (Jake) and Morgan Watkins (Frankie). She is also survived by several great grandchildren and many other loving friends and family.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (177 W Main St, Amelia, OH 45102).
