He is survived by: his wife Wilma Lyons; his children, Matt Lyons Jr., Kristy Krusling, Tosha Lyons and Felicia Lyons; his grandchildren, Katelyn Bohl, Kurtis Hughett, Brian Yauger, Matthew Yauger, Jesse Krusling, Gabrielle Krusling and Michael Krusling; his sisters, Tammy Kasee and Theresa Webb; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Lyons Jr., John Lyons, Jennifer Lyons, Mindy Cook, JJ Cook, Amy Shakaroe, Tabitha Webb, Tiffany Webb, Wayne Webb, Melissa, Shannon and Ricky.
