He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Yanek and Catherine Yanek (Kovach). He is survived by: his wife Nell Yanek (Perry); his children, Jerome "Jay" Yanek (Gail) and Cathryn "Tina" Krull (Tim); his granddaughters, Sarah Krull, Erica Yanek and Jenna Krull; and his sister Kathy Drummond.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (2300 Main St, Batavia, IL 60510).
