She was predeceased by: her parents, William Charles and Anne Charles; and her sisters, Karen Graff and Nancy Brooks. She is survived by: her sons, Rodney Sammons (Beth) and John Valentine; her grandchildren, Chris, Tyler and Abbi Sammons; her siblings, Bill Charles (Kathleen), Mary Ellen "MeMe" Kools, Russell Charles, Laurie Flaum (Chuck), Chuck Charles and Evie Charles; and also Andy Atkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
