She was predeceased by: her father James Arthur; and her husband Ronald Kindred. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly York (Benjamin); her grandchildren, Avery, Brooke and Brandon York; her sister Bettie Meyer (Bruce); and her sister-in-law Judy Kindred (late Jerry). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
