With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Owens (Batavia, Ohio), born in Jellico, Tennessee, who passed away on May 1, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Owens and Reteelia J. Owens (Cooper); and his siblings, Robert, Glen, Elbert and Helen.
He is survived by: his sister Joyce Eales; his children, James E. Owens (Kimberly), Dwane Owens (Kelly), Sherry Pyles (DJ) and Brittany Jodrey (Kyle); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Sadie, Jake, Amy, Chris, Megan, Kari, Steven, Nathan, Isabella and Gabriella.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or Animal Rescue Fund of Amelia (85 Lucy Run Rd., Amelia, Ohio 45102).
