We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2022, at the age of 76, James Edward Poynter Jr. of Batavia, Ohio, born in Cincinnati, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Poynter; his former wife Phyllis Poynter; and his sibling Beverly Brown. He is survived by: his wife Linda "Lynn" Poynter; his children, James Edward Poynter III (Leslie Schaffer), Melissa Ann Carson (Ken), Keven Brian Poynter (Julie), Katrina Marie King (Phillip) and Patricia Nicole Berold; his stepchildren, John Clarke, Jerry Lee Stanforth and Charles Daniel Stanforth (Kandi); his grandchildren, Dustina, Erika, Cheyenne, Casandra, Katie and Sammy; and his siblings, Loretta Mooney, Robert Poynter, Karen Werline, Keith Poynter and Richard Poynter.
