It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Etta L. Brown of Batavia, Ohio, born in Carter, Kentucky, who passed away on May 2, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Crisp and Minnie Crisp; and her children, Caryl A. Roberts and Phillip A. Brown. She is survived by: her spouse Vernal L. Brown; her daughters, Sandra L. DuPriest (Paul) and Deborah L. Fishback (John); her siblings, Kenneth, Elmer, Lula Mae, Rosa Myrtle and Homer; her grandchildren, Janice Barringer, Scott, Jay DuPriest, Courtney Cole (Mike), John Fishback (Brandi), Jamie Lay (Andrew), Joshua Fishback and Phillip Brown II; and her great grandchildren, Eddie, Justin, Ally, Alex, Aurora, Marissa, Rebecca, Eden, Addison, John Quincy, Wyatt, George and Roman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
