She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Niesel and Dorothy Niesel; her brother Bob Niesel; her brother-in-law Dean Driggs; her nephews, Tim Niesel and Jared Niesel; and her great-nephew Maxwell Templin.

She is survived by: her husband James Gentile; her children, Amy Jackson (James), Timothy Gentile and Gregory Gentile (Brigitte); her grandchildren, Madison Gentile, Mitchell Gentile, Evan Jackson and Cole Jackson; her siblings, William Niesel (Dreema), Tim Niesel (Patti), Peggy Logue (Jerry) and Eileen Driggs; and her sister-in-law Barbara VonBargen. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
