He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Esz and Anna Esz; and his wife Eleanor Esz. He is survived by: his children, Carl Douglas Esz (Jolene), Gregory Esz (Jill), Donald Esz (Dawn), Martha Wiederhold (Dan) and David Esz (Amber); his grandchildren, Steven, Joseph, Clark, Rachel, Jonathan, Lauriann, Mikaya, Logan, Nicole, Anne, Joe, Daniel of Bianyka, JR and Lexi; his great grandchildren, Kade, Eli, Colt and Stormi; and his siblings, Frank Esz and Shirley Rinehart (Kent). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
