She was predeceased by: her mother Beatrice Bargo; and her stepfather Clark Bargo. She is survived by: her husband Harold Gatts Sr.; her children, Terri Gentry (Steve), Rhonda Gatts and Harold Gatts Jr. (Tabitha); her grandchildren, Brandi Zerges, Jordan Gentry, Josh Beck and Hannah Lindsey; her great grandchildren, Quentin, Ty, Jackson, Thatcher and Gracie Zerges; and her siblings, Jay Shelton, Juanita Kempf, Eva Shelton and Albert Shelton.
