She was predeceased by: her son Dewey Russell Lawson; and her sister Donna Vinsant. She is survived by: her husband Dewey Lawson; her daughter Carla Lawson (Joe Pride); her siblings, Thelma Crabtree-Vinsant (Darrell), Lyndon Vinsant, Laverne Vinsant and Trenna Pierce-Vinsant; and her granddaughters, Haley and Hannah Lawson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
