He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Hickenbottom and Dorothy Hickenbottom (Kern); his former wife Norma Hickenbottom; his brother Calvin Hickenbottom; his brother-in-law Harding "Skip" Powers; and his close friend Philip Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Edna; his children, Carla Hendershot (Darren), David Hickenbottom (Theresa) and James Hickenbottom (Kim); his stepchildren, Angela Papalevich (Rob) and Mike Taylor (Barb); his grandchildren, Cassie Hendershot, Tony, Tammra, Nickie, Jessie and Jeana; and his sisters, Elaine Morris, Paula Triplett and Jean Powers. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home (319 N Chestnut St, Barnesville, OH 43713). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
