She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Carl and Burdella Lewis (McConnell); her husband Hollie William Detling; her siblings, Harvey E. Lewis (Billie Jean), John DeWitt Lewis, Dorothy Lewis and Betty Buscaglia; and her siblings-in-law, John Detling (Kathryn) and Jean Davis (Roger).
She is survived by: her children, Lou Ann Swallie (Pat), Marla Kent and William Detling (Tracy); her grandchildren, Amber Hardie (Ryan), Adam Swallie (Autumn), Arick Swallie, Evan Kent (Megan), Ryan Kent, Joshua Detling (Cayte), Paul Detling (Lauren), Joseph Detling, Linnea Detling and Elizabeth Detling; her great grandchildren, Madison Hardie, Cameron Detling and Coleton Detling; her brother Carl Lewis (Bonnie); and her sister-in-law Gwen Lewis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First United Methodist Church, 123 West Church Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
