He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Elmer and Phyllis Alberta Barrett (Baker); his son Harlan "Buddy" Barrett; and his siblings, Sharon Leasure, Bonnie Jean Barrett and Ross Barrett.
He is survived by: his son Derek Roby (Lacie Carter); his grandchildren, Dextyn, Trace and Kassi; and his stepchildren, Brandi Roby, Tina Luff, Crystal Seevers, Bobbi Dingus, Misty Huntsman and Harley Poole. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
