She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Herman and Lillian Doris Furney (Jefferies); her husband David A. Perkins; and her siblings, Suzann Furney, Helen "Jeannie" Shepherd and Clyde Richard Furney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Perkins (Bill Froehlich) of Barnesville and Tammy Wells (Donald) of Barnesville; her brother-in-law Mike Shepherd of Barnesville; and her nieces and nephews, Jan Caldwell (Curtis) and Jay Shepherd (Ken).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home (319 N Chestnut St, Barnesville, OH 43713). A vigil service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Assumption Catholic Church (306 W Main St, Barnesville, OH 43713). The inurnment was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery South State.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kay's memory to the Assumption of the B.V.M. Catholic Church, 306 West Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713.
