He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth "Tink" Fortney and Betty Fortney; his brother Barry Fortney; and his son Nicholas Fortney. He is survived by: his children, Joshua, Leilani and Cassandra Fortney; his sister Kathy Barnhart; and his grandchildren, Luke Fortney, Paige Bird and Hunter Lutz. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
