He was predeceased by: his brother Robert. He is survived by: his parents, Jim Carpenter and Cathy Carpenter; his wife Swee-Wan Poon; his children, Cherie (Boh), Tyler, Dylan and Mei-Ling; and his sister Sharon Wooldredge.
