With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronnie Lee Parsons of Barberton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2025 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Parsons and Dorothy Ellis Parsons; his former wife Lynne E.; his daughter Shashawnee Dee Parsons; his brother James Ellis; his stepmother Geneva Jeffrey Parson; and his stepbrother Danny Jeffrey.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Lee Parsons; his sons, Nathaniel, Caleb and Seth Parsons; his sister-in-law Sharon Ellis; and his siblings, Karen Walters and Joseph "Jody" J. Parsons II (Brenda). He is also survived by his nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cox-McNulty Funeral Home (222 Norton Ave, Barberton, OH 44203). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (2580 Romig Rd, Akron, OH 44320).
